Jackie (Jaquelin Newton Danielle) was formerly a sitcom star back in the 90s in a show she didn't even star in. Now old, washed-up, and does nothing but laze and drink around all day.

Reese is still a sitcom star and a longtime "friendly" rival as an actress to Jackie. Now in a somewhat-down-low polyamorous relationship she suspiciously doesn't mention often in favor of whatever looks fun.

Daphne is the girl that got Reese into this whole poly-predicament in the first place. Smart, diligent, and outspoken in some ways, if also rather closed off and introverted in others. 

Why The Long Face is an original visual novel that in no way infringes on any copyrighted material or registered trademark, much less one made by Netflix.
